Like eyelashes, the eyebrows are also a safeguard and helper of the eyes. The study of the density, hugeness, extension, the place of starting and ending, their colour, dryness, inclination, etc. give information about the quality, nature and behaviour of the person. The eyebrows can be divided into eleven categories.
If the middle portion of the eyebrow is having upwards curvature and both the corners are declined downwards as shown in figure 139, the person is interested in various fields, curious, having good understanding and a sign of theism. The persons having such eyebrows are practical minded.
If both the corners of the eyebrows are declined downwards and the middle portion is having downward curvature as shown in figure 140, the person is artistic, amorous, attracted towards opposite sex and affectionate. Such persons are indulged in lust, well-behaved, having good communication skill, volatile and want to live in the lap of nature.
If the internal corners of the eyebrows are upwarded and external corners are declined downward as shown in figure 141, the person is serious by nature. Such persons are faithful, spiritualistic, principled, religious, interested in social work, diligent and truthful. The person having such character is ideal and follower of the principle of simple life high thinking.
If the internal corners of the eyebrows are declined downward and external corners are uplifted sharp as shown in figure 142, determination and firmness are found in the person. Such persons do not like flattery, but they make all the persons their enemy by telling the truth bitterly. They do what they say and accomplish their work without caring others.
If the eyebrows are dense, internal corners are thin and external corners are curved downward and extensive as shown in figure 143, it denotes diplomacy, patience and farsightedness in the person. Such persons have leading and associative powers. They are ambitious, popular, connoisseur in deceiving other and indulged in lust. Such persons take advantage of good opportunity and they do not attack directly on their enemies; on the contrary they fight with them diplomatically.
If the internal corners of the eyebrows are joined as shown in figure 144, the person is very conceited and desirous. Such persons like to lead their life with pomp and show. They do not care for others for the sake of their own comfort and luxury. The persons having joined eyebrows are fond of delicious food, good living standard and indulged in lust, luxury and drug-addiction all over their life. They make all the attempts to maintain their proud.
If the internal corners of the eyebrows go downward by turning suddenly as shown in figure 145, the person is interested in history, culture, discovery, analysis and study of ancient civilisations. Such persons are archaeologist, historian and scientist, who reveal the mysteries of primitive life of the person.
Upwarded eyebrows like slanting line as shown in figure 146 is a sign of undeveloped brain, brutality, primitiveness, cruelty, superstition and dullness. Such type of eyebrows are mostly found in the persons having downward eyes, who are mentally and intellectually backward and live their life like animals away from the civilisation. Such persons are audacious, impudent, witless, drug-addicted and uncivilised.
The eyebrows having artistic curvature like an arc as shown in figure 147 denote sensitiveness, amateurishness, sophistication and charming personality. The persons having such eyebrows are well behaved, skilled in arts and tender by nature. They are very sensitive towards situations, having imaginative power, emotional and fickle-minded.
The eyebrows having artistic curvature starting from upwarded points as shown in figure 148 are found in great sages, foreseers and good artists who possess clairvoyance. Such persons have pity for human, deep sense of knowledge, power to know mystery, clairvoyant capacity, divine power and natural innateness. They always live in ecstasy. Magnetic attraction is found in their personality and words; therefore, whoever comes into their contact, is impressed by them.
Triangular eyebrows suddenly declined from the middle portion as shown in figure 149 represents instability, variability and lack of self confidence. The persons having such type of eyebrows always make new plans, but they are unable to implement them. They are unable to do the work by stable mind; they always give up every work incomplete.
There are also some persons whose eyebrows do not appear or fall with due course of time. Disappearance or falling of eyebrows is the symptom of hormonal imbalance or effect of any disease.
The shape, perspective, position of eyebrows, interciliary space should also be studied jointly while studying the character and nature of the person with the help of eyebrows because all these topics are interrelated itself.
