The wise man imprisoned Hamir and told him, “One day, a noble soul will come to rescue you. Tell him to fetch the flower of light and apply its juice on your eyes, and you will regain your eyesight.” Hatim began searching for the flower of light. On his way, he met the fairies who had escorted him. They took him to the garden where the flower grew and said, “We cannot enter the garden, as it is filled with deadly scorpions. From here you have to manage on your own.” Hatim took out the magical staff that the genie had given him and fearlessly walked up to the flower of light that shone like a brilliant lamp, unharmed by the poison of the scorpions. The fairies then carried him back to Hamir. He applied the juice of the flower on his eyes and Hamir could see once again!
