One day in a jungle, a tiger attacked a fox. The fox cried out, “How dare you attack the king of the jungle?” The tiger roared in anger, “Grrrrrrrrr!” He looked at the fox in amazement and said, “I am the king of the jungle, not you!” The fox replied, “All the animals run from me in terror! If you want proof, come with me.” First, they went near a herd of deer; the deer saw the tiger behind the fox and ran away in all directions. Next, they went near a group of monkeys. The monkeys saw the tiger behind the fox and they too, fled. The fox turned to the tiger and said, “Do you need more proof than that? See how the animals flee at the very sight of me.” The foolish tiger said, “I am surprised! Forgive me for attacking you, My Lord. I agree that you are the king of the jungle.”
