The Founder’s Day is the day when a school, an institution or a building was founded. Last Saturday, the Founder’s Day was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm. It was the day when Foundation Stone of our school was laid by our chairman Mr. N.P. Nagpal, twenty years ago. In the morning, the ceremonial lamp of learning was lit by our Principal Mr. Saini and school headmistress. Many cultural programmes were the part of the celebration. They commenced with the chanting of Sanskrit shlokas. The school report catalogued various achievements that the school made during the last twenty years. It enlightened the invitees about the various events that took in the previous years. To end up, a rousing chorus recitation of ‘A Psalm of Life’ was followed by a scintilating dance performance based on Kathak, Ballad and Bharatnatyam.
