A lion lived with his wife and two cubs. One day, the lion found a little fox in the forest. He felt pity for the fox and brought him home. The lioness brought him up like her own baby. All the three children became good friends and played together. One day, the children saw an elephant while playing. The lion’s cubs wanted to fight and kill the elephant immediately. But the little fox got scared. He discouraged the cubs also from fighting against the elephant. He ran home. The cubs also followed him and told the story of their cowardly brother to the lioness. The lioness laughed and said, “A lion’s child never gets scared of anybody. He got scared because he is a fox’s child.” The lioness told the fox to join his own tribe. The fox went away to live with his tribe.
