Sofia was a strict mother. She had four children. She wanted them to follow a disciplined routine. One morning, Sofia shouted, “Wake up, children! It is time to start your chores!” But since it was Sunday, the children wanted to go swimming. Sofia said, “You can go swimming after finishing off your chores.” The children did not listen and went out swimming. Sofia was upset. She had planned to prepare a pudding that day. She decided not to do so. When her children asked for the pudding after dinner, she said, “Children, if you promise to follow a disciplined routine, I will make the pudding next time.” The children realised their mistake. The next Sunday, they finished their work early. That evening, Sofia prepared a delicious pudding for them. Her children had learnt the lesson and they never disobeyed her.
