It was Christmas Eve, and Lucy had placed a plate of cookies and milk near the fireplace for Santa. ‘Let me see what Santa looks like,’ thought Lucy. She then hid behind the couch of her living room. After midnight, Lucy heard a strange muffling sound. A person landed on the living room floor and furtively placed something in his stocking. Santa then had a few cookies and was about to leave, when Lucy cried out, “Won’t you drink the milk?” Astonished, Santa looked at the little girl sticking her head from behind the couch and said, “I am allergic to milk, little girl.” He then disappeared. A year passed, and it was Christmas Eve again. Lucy hid behind the couch waiting for Santa. When he was about to leave, Lucy said, “Please drink, Santa; it’s soy milk.” Hearing this, Santa broke into loud guffaws and drank the whole glass of soy milk. “See you, next year,” said Santa, and he disappeared.
