Once upon a time, a man had a very bad habit of finding fault with everything. He was a nitpicker and looked into the tiniest of details. Many of his friends stayed away from him due to this bad habit of his. One day, he felt like having some seafood, so he went to a restaurant. The waiter asked, “What is your order, Sir?” The man replied, “I would like to have some oysters.” As the waiter was going to place the order, the man called, “Please check that oysters are neither too large nor too small, neither too salty, nor too fried, neither too fat, nor too thin.” The waiter could not help but stare at the man. Then he said sarcastically, “Do you want them with or without pearls?” The man realised that the waiter was taunting him. He understood that one should not be so much finicky about things.
Moral: One should not be fussy.
