One day, a man went to the king and gifted him a big fat hen. The man said, “Sir! I gambled in your name and won this hen.” The king was very pleased. After a few days, the man came again and said to the king, “Sir! I gambled in your name and won this goat.” The king readily accepted the goat. Then, a few days later, the man again came to the king but without any gifts. Instead, he brought two men with him. The king asked, “Why have you brought these men?” The man replied, “Well! Yesterday, I gambled in your name and lost to these men. I owe them money.” The king was furious but he could not say anything. He realised that he should not have accepted the previous gifts in the first place. So, he paid the two men and told the man never to gamble in his name again.
