A royal palace lay in ruins in corner of the city. The palace was destroyed in a fire mishap. Since then, it was believed to be occupied by evil spirits. One day, Joel’s friends dared him to bring a flower from the palace. By the time Joel reached there, the weather unexpectedly turned stormy and dark clouds roofed the palace. A swarm of eagles started hovering above Joel’s head, close enough to attack him. Joel stood there petrified, unable to move when he saw an old man tending to the garden. “Sir, can you please help me?” requested Joel, tapping the old man’s shoulders. The old man swiftly turned to reveal a ghastly skull face with warped horns on his head. He engulfed Joel with his wolverine claws and dragged him inside the palace to feast upon him. But Joel knew karate. So, he kicked the old man hard and struggled out of his clutches. He rushed out of the palace, never to return.
