Once, a haughty goblin challenged the queen of goblins, “I am the strongest warrior in the world. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.” The queen did not like his boastful ways, so she decided to teach him a lesson. She organised a competition between the proud goblin and another warrior. This warrior was dressed in a mask and a cloak. The warrior fought so bravely that he defeated the proud goblin easily. He ran home with his head hung in shame. The next day, the goblin appeared before the queen and said, “I am sorry for my haughtiness. Please tell me who the brave warrior is and I will be his follower.” The goblin queen smiled and said, “I was the brave warrior. You were proud and wanted to waste your energy on a useless fight. Rather, you should use your power to help others.” The goblin was never proud again.
