Once, there was a mouse named Miri. She was going for a stroll when she came across a large hat lying on the road. She thought, ‘It must have been blown from someone’s head.’ She picked the hat and walked on. Soon, she returned home between the roots of an old oak tree. Well, that night a strong wind was blowing and it was very chilly too. Miri could not sleep even though she pulled the blankets up to her chin. Then she remembered the big hat. She decided to make it her house. It would keep her warm as well. So, the next day, Miri filled the hat with her belongings and started living in it. It was very cosy indeed and Miri never felt cold ever again. The other mice admired Miri’s new home. Miri soon became famous for owning an unusual house.
