The Howling

Mal felt strange chills as he entered D’leh’s house. He called out but got no answer. After waiting at the door for sometime Mal entered through the old door. D’leh was writing a book. Mal was D’leh’s secretary. The house certainly felt deserted, but the writer sat at his desk. He found D’leh to be an odd man. Mal finished his day’s work as soon as he could and was happy to leave. It was a four-hour drive to his house. Halfway, he realised that he had left his phone at D’leh’s house. Reluctantly, he turned back. It was dark now. The front door was open. Mal entered, but before he could call out to the author, he saw his clothes lying on the floor. They were torn! Just then, he heard a creature howling outside. He saw a large pair of yellow eyes staring at him from the thicket! He got into his car and drove away, never to return.
