Gary’s class teacher had taken the class for a picnic by the lake. It was a beautiful spot at the edge of a forest. “Please do not go into the forest,” warned their teacher when they reached the lake. The children found a clean spot and spread their picnic mat along with their food. Before eating, they decided to play. After sometime, Gary felt thirsty and went to get a drink. He saw that some of his food was missing. He called his friends and they decided to find the thief. Following the food crumbs, they reached a tree. Behind it they saw two elves eating their food! Caught red-handed, the elves explained that they were very hungry and apologised. Gary and his friends immediately forgave them. They gave the elves some sweets and candies. The elves were very happy and became good friends with the boys. Gary and his friends visited the elves every weekend and they had a good time.
