Once, there was an ass, Ashu whose all family members worked for different masters. Only he remained lonely without any master and always wished to have a master. One day, God came in his dream and granted his wish. Next day, a herb seller took Ashu with him and made him work a lot. After a few days he got frustrated with his master’s crude behaviour and wished for another master. God again came in his dream and warned Ashu that he would regret this decision.
However, the ass was stubborn, so God granted his wish. Soon, the ass was sold to a potter but the new master was even worse because he made the ass work even harder. Once more, the ass prayed to God for a change of master. God said, “This is the last time I’m granting your request.” Soon the ass got a tanner as the new master. The ass realized that his situation was even worse than before. He now regretted. He was living happily without any master.
