The Kind Princess and the Crow

The Kind Princess and the Crow

Once, a beautiful princess of king Henz, had gone to wander in a nearby park. She was wandering alone. Suddenly an injured crow fell near her legs. At the beginning she got scared and started escaping but just as she heard the voice of the crow she stopped and picked the crow and asked, “Who has hurt you like this?” The crow replied, “I am a prince and a wicked witch, who lives in my castle, has transformed me into a crow. She says that only a good-natured princess can release me from this spell on one condition that at night she shall see ghosts roaming in this room, but if she screams, I will not be released from the spell.” When it became night and the princess was alone, ugly ghosts crowded her room and tried to scare her.

But the princess did not get scared. Seeing the brave princess, the evil ghosts disappeared. The crow changed into a handsome prince and married the princess and they lived happily ever after.
