The Lazy Dinosaur

One fine sunny day in winter, a lazy dinosaur was mindlessly roaming around the forest. He was very, very hungry, not having eaten anything since the previous night. He looked about to find something to eat. Suddenly, he saw a group of dinosaurs carrying food to their caves, to store and savour. He went up to them and asked, “Can you please give me something to eat? I haven’t eaten anything since yesterday. I am starving.” One of the dinosaurs asked him, “What were you doing the whole summer? Why didn’t you store food for the winter?” Ashamed, the dinosaur replied, “Honestly, I lazed around and procrastinated the summer away.” The group chuckled and remarked, “Then starve the winter away.” The lazy dinosaur pulled a long face and walked away, thinking, ‘It is true that hard work has no substitute.’
