The Leprechaun’s Coat

In the beautiful village of Dena, lived a leprechaun named Mosey. He had a glowing red coat with diamond buttons. Nobody else had a coat quite like it in the village. So, Mosey was very vain about it. He cleaned it every night and wore it every day. All day long, he drew everyone’s attention to his coat. He sang the songs of praise about it and forced people to listen to him. The leprechauns of Dena decided to teach him a lesson. One night, Mosey washed his coat and hung it up to dry. Trista, another leprechaun, quietly stole it. The next morning, Mosey was shocked. The whole of Dena told him that it was his own fault. By showing off his coat so often, he had attracted a clever thief. From that day on, Mosey went about his business quietly. A few days later, his coat reappeared. However, Mosey just stored it away to be used on special occasions.
