Long ago, there was a village which was very content and happy. This was because every night little elves came to do everyone’s work. The baker slept peacefully because the elves made the bread for him. The carpenter slept peacefully because the elves made the furniture for him. The housewives slept peacefully, for the elves did all the household work. The tailor slept peacefully, for the elves stitched all the clothes. But one woman was not happy with all this. She felt her husband, the tailor, was getting lazy due to this. So, the angry woman made a plan. She waited for the elves to come. When they came, she chased them away with a broom. The elves were scared. They decided to go to another village and help the people there. Well, it was a great loss for the happy people of the village.
