Vincent was a poor farmer’s son. As he had seen his father work hard in the field all day, he decided to go to the city. He wanted to work there and earn enough money to take care of his old parents. When Vincent was halfway through, he met an old man, who was hungry. “Please take these two slices of bread, sir,” he said to the old man, giving away the lunch his mother had packed for him. The old man was actually a wizard. Impressed by Vincent’s kindness, he gave him a pill which had the power of a hundred elephants. When Vincent reached the city, he saw a big giant destroying it. He hid behind the fence and thought for a moment. He took the magical pill and became strong. Then he killed the giant with a club. When the king came to know about it he rewarded Vincent handsomely. Thus, Vincent became rich and took good care of his parents.
