One day, a Hedgehog named Spike was walking home when it started to rain. Spike noticed a large mushroom and thought, “Let me use this mushroom as an umbrella!” He pulled out the mushroom and started walking again. This was a magic mushroom. Reaching home, Spike realised that the mushroom was glowing dark pink. After Spike had dinner with his wife, he placed the mushroom in a pot and kept it by the window. The next morning, Spike and his wife found a diamond by the window. They wondered, “Who kept it here?” “I am a magic mushroom. You have treated me kindly. This diamond is your reward,” said the mushroom. Spike and his wife jumped in awe. Then the mushroom jumped out of the pot and said, “Whenever you are in trouble, remember me and I’ll be back to help you.” Spike and his wife thanked the mushroom and lived happily thereafter.
