One day, Daniel found a carved, stone basin. Daniel wondered what the use of this stone basin was. He poured some water into it. Lo and behold! Daniel saw images forming on the surface of the water in the basin. Daniel wondered as he saw film-like moving images forming over the surface of the water in the basin. He was amazed to see scenes from all over the world. “How wonderful!” Daniel wondered. The images disappeared suddenly. The images formed again, when Daniel looked away. Daniel consulted a wise man to learn about the magical basin in which images appeared and disappeared. The wise man said, “The basin shows the future. But sometimes, God does not want us to know today what will happen tomorrow. So, the images disappear before you can understand them!” Daniel gave the basin to the wise man. He never looked at the basin again.
