Corinna, the mermaid queen, was very sad. She was tired of the ocean and wanted to live on land. She prayed hard for help. The angel of wishes appeared before her. He said, “I will make your wish come true. What if you changed your mind after living on earth?” “No! I will never regret my decision. I am tired of the water!” said Corinna. Her wish was granted. Accordingly, she made her home in a nearby village. She tried to make friends with the local humans. Some were friendly; some were not. Before long, Corinna was homesick for the ocean. She missed her kind of people and her water world lifestyle. She prayed hard to the angel of wishes. When he appeared, she said, “I don’t belong here. Please take me home!” The angel took her back to the ocean and Corinna never left her beloved ocean again!
