Long, long ago, a wolf lived in his den, in a dense jungle. He was very wicked and a wily wolf. He always made fool of other animals to make profit for himself. The wolf had become anxious because of his devious nature. Nobody came to him. ‘How am I supposed to get food?’ thought the wolf, ‘I must disguise myself.’ Then he covered himself in a sheep’s cloak. He went to the nearby pastures where a flock of sheep was grazing. He mingled among them.
He was happy that so far, even the shepherd hadn’t been able to see through his false skin. ‘Ah! Tonight I will finally get sheep’s meat,’ chuckled the wolf. Night came and the shepherd locked them all in the sheep’s pen. As the wolf was about to remove his skin, the shepherd came to get meat for himself and unknowingly took away the wolf.
