The Monster Inventor

A small boy named Hammond loved hearing and watching monster stories. He did not enjoy reading books. One day, he visited Uncle Musky. Uncle Musky had a fancy dress shop. He used to create and design costumes on his own. When Hammond entered the shop, he saw Uncle Musky was busy reading a book. “Oh, Uncle Musky, books are so boring. Why do people read them?” Uncle Musky said, “Hammond, don’t say that. Come here and read this book in front of me.” He added, “Hammond, books are a whole new world in themselves. A reader is never alone. Imagine each line that you read.” Hammond started reading slowly. Soon, he got engrossed in the world of dinosaurs. Uncle Musky had given him a book on dinosaurs. Hammond started turning the pages, and soon he discovered many more creatures. He felt as if they were roaming live in front of him. Uncle Musky told him how books help him create amazing costumes. Hammond was thrilled to discover the whole new world of books.
