THE MOON

The moon is a heavenly body. It moves round the Earth. It reflects the sun’s light that falls on it. So it seems to shine. It is very far away from the Earth. There is no air or water on the moon. So we cannot live on the moon. The moon has big hollows on its surface. They are called craters. Man has also landed on the moon. Neil Armstrong was the first man to land on the moon. He was an American. Afterwards, many other persons reached the moon and found that life is not possible there. In absence of water there man can’t live. The moon has different phases during the entire month. It keeps on changing its shape.
