A long time ago, there was a sage who had great powers. One day, he saw a mouse fall from the beak of a flying crow. He picked up the mouse and fed him some rice. A few days later, the saint saw the mouse being chased by a cat. To make the mouse stronger, he changed him into a cat too. Now, one day, the cat was being chased by a tiger. The saint, to protect the cat, changed her into a tiger as well. But the villagers were not scared of the tiger. They said, “That is not a tiger but a mouse whom the sage had changed into a tiger!” The tiger thought, ‘As long as the sage is alive, the truth about my reality will always be spoken!’ So, the tiger ran towards the saint who understood his plan. He immediately turned him back into a mouse.
Moral: One should always be humble.
