Peter was spending his Christmas holidays at his uncle’s mansion. One early morning, Peter heard a melodious song. Curious, he followed the song to reach wooden stairs that led to the uppermost floor of the mansion. Though his uncle had warned him to stay away from that floor yet he couldn’t resist climbing up. The stairs creaked under his weight and he could smell a suffocating dampness in the air. Peter nervously entered a room, from where the music seemed to be coming. Suddenly, the door slammed shut behind him on its own. Trembling, Peter attempted to open the door but a gigantic tail clamped his mouth. He was trapped by a giant python. “Hmmm, a human flesh after so long!” bellowed the python. Peter grabbed an axe lying near by and hit the python with full force. The python groaned with pain and freed Peter who ran down to his room as fast he could.
