Once upon a time, there was a very naughty wolf. He loved to play tricks on others. One day, he saw a sledge coming his way. He quickly lay on the road, pretending to be dead. The sledge owner saw the wolf and thought he was dead. He said, “Oh! I will take this dead wolf to the market.” He put the wolf in his sledge. After some time, the sledge owner found the wolf lying on the road again. He exclaimed, “How is this possible? I had put him in my sledge!” He again put the wolf in his sledge. Now, other than the wolf, the owner was also carrying many fish to sell in the market. The sly wolf picked up a bagful of fish and slipped into the jungle. After some time, the owner realized that something was wrong, but it was too late. The wolf had already taken his fish!
Moral: Always be on alert.
