The nicest place I have seen

Kashmir is the nicest place I have ever seen. I happened to visit Kashmir valley this year. The moment I crossed the boundary of the valley, I was wonder-struck to see the ravishing beauty of the “paradise on Earth”. Some rightly call it the “Switzerland of India”. Indeed, Kashmir valley is one of the most bewitching and beautiful valleys of the world.
It is situated in the middle of the mighty Himalayas. Kashmir is the home of deities and bounties, fruits and flowers and exquisite flora and fauna. Some of the places of historical interest are the monuments of great importance and significance. The Nishat bagh, Chandanwari, Verinag, Anantnag, Chashma Shahi, Nagin lake and Shalimar Gardens are places for every visitor to see. The scene of Dal lake with houseboats and their reflection in the still waters of the lake, presents a beautiful spectacle. The mighty cataracts, producing music of their own haunt our minds. The caves of Amarnath where the temple of Lord Shiva is situated, is really marvelous place to visit. It is situated at a height of nearly 15000 feet.
Kashmir is one of the best natural spots of India. Its winding rivers, huge lakes, mighty waterfalls, snow-clad mountains, long cypress tree lines and delightful gardens render this place the name “Mecca of beauty”. The entire valley is enthralling. That is why; a large number of foreigners too came to this place.
Over and above these things, Kashmir valley is endowed with some of the best hill stations like Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Son marg and Khilan marg. These hill stations are really fascinating and are good health resorts. Khilan marg is the last place where tree-line ends in Kashmir.
On the whole, the entire valley, with its cultural hues, narrow ravines and gorges as well as hills and dales make it a heavenly abode on earth.
