Richard and Monica were a wealthy couple. Though they did not have children of their own yet they helped the poor children in their town. One day, a massive earthquake hit the town. Everyone, including Richard and Monica, lost his house and belongings except for some money. One morning, while Richard was eating some fruits, he had an idea. “I have a great idea, Monica! Let’s save these seeds and plant them. We can grow a wonderful orchard,” he said. Monica agreed. Thus, they saved the seeds of fruits and planted them in the small patch of land near their hut. They watered the fruit garden daily. Gradually, the seeds grew into big fruit trees. Richard and Monica started selling these fruits and earned a lot of money. They grew more fruit gardens and earned even more. With their hard work and patience, they became rich again. The couple continued to help poor children in their town.
