Once, a painter was passing through the forest and was lost. He crept into a cave to rest for the night. Sadly, a dragon, hidden there, caught him and said, “I will eat you up!” The painter begged, “Please let me go! I will work for you!” The dragon agreed and made the painter do his work. The painter carried his bag of paints with him always but never painted. One day, the dragon and the painter were caught by a giant. The giant kept them as slaves in his house. The dragon said to the painter, “Now I know how you must feel in my cave. I have untied you. Please go away.” However, the painter felt bad for the dragon. So, he took out his colours and painted the dragon as if his head was cut. The dragon then played dead and the giant threw him away. The painter and the dragon ran to their respective houses.
