Once, a gardener planted a little sapling near a big mango tree. He gave equal care to all his plants, but the sapling refused to grow. The gardener called the garden fairy for help. When she asked the sapling of his worries, the sapling said, “I am scared to grow in front of this huge mango tree. I would feel ashamed of my little branches and leaves.” The fairy smiled at the sapling and said, “Why should you be ashamed of yourself when we all are so unique? Maybe you will grow up to be better than the mango tree!” The little sapling had never thought of that. It finally started growing and within a year, it had grown into a beautiful young tree, with lovely peaches swinging from its branches. When the garden fairy visited next, the tree thanked her for her advice by giving her peaches from its branches.
