Once, there lived a brave piper, who could read people’s minds and was ready to help people, be it day or night. Close by, there lived a beautiful princess. She had stopped smiling and speaking after her mother’s death. One day, the king asked the piper to make the princess smile. The piper started sending flowers to the princess every day. The princess would look at the flowers and keep them away. She was puzzled, as there was no sender’s name. Then, the piper stopped sending flowers for many days. The princess missed the flowers. Then, one day, a large basket arrived. She excitedly opened it and out tumbled four puppies which licked her face! The princess smiled and laughed out loud. The princess asked to meet the person who was sending the gifts. The piper bowed before her. She fell in love with him. The happy and grateful king got them married at once.
