Once, there was a young boy named Longhands but people used to call him a pirate boy. He got this name from his family. Actually, he belonged to a pirate family. His father was a pirate, his grandfather was a pirate and his great grandfather was also a pirate. Longhands hadn’t yet stolen anything or attacked any ship but his whole family was sure that he would turn out to be the best pirate. Longhands was worried about his future. He thought that one day he would be a pirate just like his father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Every day, when he got up in the morning, he first saw his face in the mirror but found the same innocent face he had the day before. His personality similar to that of a pirate never emerged. Even the idea of robbing people for the whole life made him very upset. He always remembered the day when his cousin had pinched his favourite toy, which made him really upset.

As time passed, Longhands’ family realised that he was not a pirate. He was a very nice and kind person. People would never have stopped calling their son a pirate even if he had studied medicine and dedicated his life to caring for the sick people. Many years passed by and Longhands was now an old man. Nobody was a pirate in his family, neither his children nor his grandchildren. Nobody ever forced the other to be a pirate. Longhands felt so happy that he never chose to be a pirate. Everyone can do whatever he/she chooses in his/her life.
