Once, a water-bearer had two water pots. One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect. He used the pots to deliver water to his master’s house. The cracked pot delivered less water as it leaked on the way. One day, it said to the water-bearer, “I am sorry. I have been able to deliver only half water because of which you do not get full value from your efforts.” The water-bearer said, “As we go along, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path.” And so, the cracked pot took notice of the beautiful flowers. The water-bearer said to the pot, “I have always known about your flaw, and so, I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path. And every day, you have watered them. I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master’s table.”
Moral: Each one of us has some quality.
