Once upon a time, there was a fisherman. He never helped anybody in need, for he was very self-centred and haughty. One day while he was fishing, a storm broke out. His boat was caught in the waves. He tried his best to sail his boat towards the shore, but it was hopeless. Soon, his boat began to fill with water. The fisherman got scared. He did not know what to do. Then, he prayed to God, “Please save my life. From now on, I shall help everyone who is in need.” Soon, the storm calmed down. The fisherman reached the shore. He was a different man now. He gave a helping hand to anyone who needed his help. He became a religious man. He was thankful that at the time he needed help the most, God had helped him. He kept his part of the promise to God.
