The Reception at the Capital

When Hatim and the fairy prince with their troops approached the capital of Barzakh, they were stopped by an army quite superior to their own. They were the guards of the city. The fairy prince sent a messenger to the chief that his purpose was to visit the prince of Barzakh in a peaceful manner. In return, the army instantly sent their commander with the message that no one would harm them if they came in peace. They were extremely welcome. Hatim and his friend, along with their convoy, were allowed to enter the capital. They sent in their request to meet the king and soon they were assigned the date. The fairy prince said to Hatim, “Last time I visited these lands, I was heartbroken and disappointed. But this time, due to you, my friend, my spirits and hopes are high and I know the victory will be ours!”
