Long, long ago, it was believed that there was a link between heaven and the earth. People could easily travel from the earth to heaven using a string that connected the two. It was easy for anyone to go to heaven and come back to the earth. Similarly, if anyone from heaven wished to visit the earth, he could come and go back. So, the string was essential for communication. One day, a woman wanted to go to heaven. She carried a grinding stone with her. On her way to heaven, the stone fell out of her hands, by mistake. While it fell, it cut down the string that was used for reaching heaven. Both string and communication broke down. The travelling between heaven and the earth ended. People could no longer travel from the earth to heaven and from heaven to the earth.
