Once, there were three bear brothers Tick, Tusty and Toal; they lived in the same house. One day there was darkness in their house and they were in sound sleep. Suddenly, they heard a frightening sound and got scared. They woke up and lit the street lamp. This made them relaxed. Since then, every night they lit the street lamps and went to sleep. One day, a bear named Ader came to stay in the neighbourhood. ‘Who dared to keep the lights on at night?’ he growled. He switched off all the street lamps and threatened to beat up Tick, Tusty and Toal if they dared to switch on the lights. They made a plan to frighten Ader.
That night they surrounded Ader’s house with bulbs. Tick hid in the bushes and asked his friends to light all of them. Hearing a noise, Ader woke up and opened his door. The bright light nearly blinded him and he tripped down the stairs. The three bears laughed and clapped their hands. “Would you dare switch off the lights ever again or else…?” they threatened Ader. Groaning in pain, Ader went back to his house. That night, all the bears slept peacefully.
