Once upon a time, some passengers were travelling in a ship. Suddenly, a huge storm brewed up and the ship got wrecked. Of all the passengers, only one man survived. He was washed up on a lonely island. He prayed every day for someone to rescue him. Many days passed by. He built a small hut to live in. One day, lightning struck his hut and it caught fire. The smoke rolled up to the sky. Everything was lost. The man was filled with grief and anger. “God, how could you do this to me!” he cried. Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. “How did you know I was here?” asked the tired man of his rescuers. “We saw your smoke signal,” they replied. The man realized that everything happens for a reason.
Moral: Blessings do come in disguise.
