The daughter of demon king, Farokash was very sick. He requested Hatim Tai to free her from her ailment. Hatim visited the princess and was shocked to see her pale yellow face and weak body. She looked like a ghost. Hatim ordered the slaves present there to bring some water and sugar. He mixed them together and made a pleasant drink. He then dipped his magical pearl in that drink several times and prayed to God for His blessings. He then handed the drink to the princess. As soon as the princess drank the mixture, she fell asleep. She slept for three days and three nights. The King was worried but when the princess woke up, she was as fresh as the morning dew; her cheeks were pink and her eyes were shining. Hatim said to the demon king, “By the grace of God, your daughter is cured; now I must take your leave.”
