Once, a soldier was given a horse. He was very happy. During the battle, the soldier treated his horse very well. He fed him hay and corn and took great care of him. However, when the battle ended, the soldier neglected the horse. He did not feed the horse properly. The soldier also made him carry heavy burden. The horse became very weak. After some months, the soldier was again called to fight for his country. The solder was very excited. He got ready and placed the saddle on his horse. But the horse fell down as soon as the soldier tried to sit on him. The horse cried, “You must now fight on foot. When you did not need me, you neglected me and turned me from a horse to a donkey. I cannot fight like a war horse now!”
