A sparrow couple lived on a tree. One day, she laid eggs. After a while, an elephant came to sit under the tree. Now, this elephant was always angry. In anger, he shook the tree. The sparrow’s nest broke due to this. All her eggs were lost. The couple was very sad. They wanted to take revenge. The two called their friends, a woodpecker, a fly and a frog. The frog made a plan to teach the elephant a lesson. He told the fly to buzz in the elephant’s ear. The fly did so. The elephant closed his eyes to listen to the music. Then, the woodpecker pecked his eyes and blinded him. The frog sat near a pit and croaked. The elephant could not see but heard the frog. He thought that there was a pond near by. He ran and fell into the pit. Thus, the sparrow had her revenge.
