There was a lady, who used to remain angry all the time. She never spoke sweetly to anybody. Everyone in her neighbourhood hated her. One day, the lady was taking a walk along a country lane when a horse-cart appeared from the back. It was going in the same direction as the lady was going. The wheels of the cart made a squeaking noise. The squeaking noise irritated the lady and she started moving fast to avoid it, but soon the cart was again behind her. Then she lingered behind, and sauntered along slowly, but ‘squeak-squeak’–the hateful sound was still there. At last, the cart was driven down a lane to the right, and the lady breathed a sigh of relief. Now she could enjoy the humming of the bees and the chirping of the birds. The squeaking wheels gave a big lesson of life to the lady. She thought about the importance of having good behaviour. The wheels needed oil, so does our behaviour.
