Once, there was a peaceful city. One day, a witch took possession of its tower and terrorised the people. Many brave warriors fought against her and gave up their lives. The people whispered, “All our warriors are dead. If only Watanabi were still here, the bravest of them all! But all that remains is his sword.” However, Watanabi’s son heard this. He decided to fight against the witch with the sword. He armed himself and went off to the tower. The witch saw him but she paid little heed to him as she did not feel threatened by him. She thought her looks would be enough to kill him. The boy entered the witch’s room. The witch laid her wild burning looks on the boy but the brilliance of Watanabi’s sword blinded her. The young boy struck her with the sword before she could defend herself.
