Rajguru was jealous of Tenali and kept plotting to get Tenali death sentence every now and then.
In order to shape him away for ever Tenali made a plan and went to him. He told Rajguru that a very beautiful dancer had come to the city and wanted to meet him. He further added that the girl wanted to meet him at once as he (Rajguru) was very close to the king and held a high position in the king’s eyes.
For this Rajguru would have to dress like a girl and meet her at her house at night. He told the same story to the king. At night, both the king and Rajguru arrived at the address, dressed as girls, and were surprised to see each other.
At this Tenali locked the room from outside and told them to free him of death sentence for ever. Having no choice, they complied and Tenali was happy he would not be given that punishment again.
