In a huge lake, there lived three big fish. They were close friends. The first one believed in fate. The second one was intelligent and knew there’s a solution to every problem. The third one was wise and could anticipate trouble beforehand. One day, the wise fish overheard a fisherman talking to another. “This lake seems to be full of fish.” The wise fish told her friends, “Let’s escape before the fishermen catch us.” The intelligent fish said, “There’s a canal that leads to another lake.” The fish which believed in fate said, “Whatever has to happen, will happen. I was born here, so I’m not going.” The other two fish left for the new lake. The fishermen came the next morning and cast their net. The third fish was trapped in it along with many others. She realised that had she acted on time, she would have been saved.
