Once, three trees had lofty dreams. The first tree said, “I hope to be a treasure chest.” The second tree said, “I hope to be a mighty ship.” And, the third tree said, “I hope to be the greatest tree.” In time, the trees were cut down. Their lofty dreams were forgotten. The first tree became a feed box for animals. The second tree became a fishing boat. The third tree was cut into large pieces. Then, years later, Baby Jesus was placed in the feed box. The tree knew that it held the greatest treasure. After some years, a group of men and Jesus sailed in the fishing boat. The tree knew that it had become a mighty ship by carrying the King of kings. The third tree became the greatest tree as Jesus was crucified on it. Thus, though quite late, the dreams of the trees had indeed been realised.
