Once upon a time, there lived a family—dad, mom and a little boy named Ben. The family sold his old house and shifted to a new one in another city. Ben was very excited for his bedroom. He opened the door and was surprised to see his bedroom full of toys, storybooks, pens, pencils and many more interesting things. Everything was in its proper place and perfectly tidy. Ben played with his new toys for the rest of the day. He was so tired that he slept without putting the things in their proper places. The next morning, when he got up, he saw everything was back in its proper place. He thought that his mom had put everything back and also cleaned his room. But Ben was shocked when his mom entered his room and appreciated him for keeping his bedroom clean. Ben was confused but he didn’t take it seriously.
The same thing happened that day and the next day as well. Ben was unaware of anything. But on the fourth day, when Ben took out a toy, the toy jumped out of his hands and said, “I don’t want to play with you.” Ben was shocked. He thought that he was dreaming, so he took out another toy. But the same thing happened with every toy he touched. Finally, an old teddy bear said, “We don’t want to play with you. You always leave us on the cold floor. Do you have any idea how difficult it is for us to climb back up on our places? We won’t play with you any more until you promise not to do it again.” Ben was sorry and realised how badly he had treated his books, toys and other things. From that day on, he always put his toys in their proper places before going to bed.
